now that I can post . . .

. . . and send email from my very own computer for the first time in over a year--yeah wireless, yeah computer-genius Sean--you won't be able to shut me up. Or stop me from badgering all of the still-in-schoolers to register on facebook (thefacebook.com) if your school has access. (Rhodes has yet to do so so we can't do so as alums--lots of do so's there!). Another great way to waste your time with computer access besides taking 20 harry potter quizes. Also a good way to learn that I am evidently the only person at UNC-CH who lists needlepoint as a hobby. Well no wonder I have such trouble finding good patterns around!

Also curious to hear about everyone's Harry Potter buying experience. Jess and Mandie, how was your party? Anyone else do midnight? A group of us went to Barnes and Noble. Two interesting occurences: (1) the Wal-mart invaltrators (no idea how to spell that) sent over to say they had no wait and two dollars cheaper--pretty sneaky Mr. Walton (to which my favorite response was "We don't want the censored version with all the witchcraft taken out." Jon Stewart would be proud.) and (2) the guy driving by outside rolling down his window and asking "Is something going on here?" Obviously the big signs and people dressed as wizards were too obscure.
